Nata Sulakvelidze
Co-Founder & CTO of G3D. Founder & CEO of Versec. Inventor.
I build companies that make physical things. A research question becomes an instrumented experiment; the experiment becomes a patent; the patent becomes a prototype; the prototype becomes a product; the product becomes a company — and the fleet of those products generates the data that becomes the next paper. Nine years, seven companies, two granted patents, more than fifty machines built.

Conic Wind Wheel
Blades fixed to a hub at equal intervals, disposed radially and inclined, so that on rotation they write a cut conic surface. The rotational axis is inclined relative to the horizon, and a shield shaped as that same cut conic surface is rigidly connected below the wheel. This is the geometry the visitor sees turning on a pole: it accepts wind from changing directions without yawing the machine, and it is the reason DAWTONE exists as a company rather than as a paper.

Vortex Microhydroelectric Power Station
The stated technical result is the possibility of product unification and mass production. A vertical pressing cell executed as guiding spirals carries a hydro turbine on the inner side of its wall; a telescopic inlet channel connects peripherally to the upper edge, and a vertical outlet channel with telescoping end parts completes the flow path. Telescoping members are what make the machine adjustable, and adjustment is what makes a family of sizes manufacturable from one design.

A floor, not a ceiling. Every project in the record took private money through its development, and none of it took less than thirty thousand lari.
